I am officially in my 4th month of remission.
And yes I am still working, living like a normal person (except for that wig). I still shop like I have tons of fortune. I still dress up and put on make up. I still eat what I like, less the seafood and sashimi.
I have made some lifestyle changes in the hope of being able to be in this world a little longer to see my girl grows up into a beautiful girl and gets married to a fabulous guy, giving birth to a dozen of babies.
I also occasionally ponder on how can I maximise my time in this world to give good to the society? Maybe volunteering?
I ever came across a statement that says “Life is full of uncertainty but death is a certainty”. Its inspiring and reminded us to live with less fear, hesitation and regrets since the ending is for sure.
ReplyDeleteHaving survived this ordeal, I would encourage to go into volunteering (if u have thoughts of it) without much delay. And from there, you might find the your own definition of what it is to give good to the society.

ReplyDeleteThat's a very inspiring quote. Life is definitely full of uncertainty. Most important is how do we deal with the "surprises" that we unveil in our lives.
Yep, I would love to go into volunteering and hopefully find some comrades in this circle or make new friends or even hopefully bring hope to other people.
